A HUMOROUS GUIDE TO HERALDRY This book is a wonderful introduction to the subject and makes an ideal present for children, to get them interested in heraldry. The author is Jack Carlson, probably our youngest member. He is 17 and became interested in heraldry while living in London in 1994. The book was written, for the most part, during the summer of 2001. Jack has just completed his final year at Buckingham Browne and Nichols School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He enjoys Chinese, Latin and coxing the school's rowing crews. He lives in Weston Massachusetts with his parents, John and Suzanne, his sister Jill and his dog, Lisa. THE COATS OF ARMS AND BLAZONS OF THOSE GENTLEMEN WHO HAVE HELD OFFICE AT THE COLLEGE OF ARMS AND AS ULSTER KING OF ARMS by Roland Symons The booklet shows the coats of arms of all those who have held the Offices of Kings of Arms, Heralds and Pursuivants at The College of Arms.
