A HUMOROUS GUIDE TO HERALDRY

This book is a wonderful introduction to the subject and makes an ideal present for children, to get them interested in heraldry. The author is Jack Carlson, probably our youngest member. He is 17 and became interested in heraldry while living in London in 1994. The book was written, for the most part, during the summer of 2001. Jack has just completed his final year at Buckingham Browne and Nichols School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He enjoys Chinese, Latin and coxing the school's rowing crews. He lives in Weston Massachusetts with his parents, John and Suzanne, his sister Jill and his dog, Lisa.

The book costs £9 +  post and packing (see order form) and may be obtained from the Society. Code: Carl1

The publication of the book has been assisted by the Heraldry Society.
