NOTICE
TO OVERSEAS MEMBERS

Unfortunately,
UK banks are now refusing to accept dollar (and other non-sterling) cheques for
small amounts, so we are asking overseas members, who cannot send sterling
cheques, to send a remittance in one of the following ways:

Arrange
for your Bank to make a sterling payment direct to our Bank account. The
Society’s account is at the Bank of Scotland, London West End Office –
sort code 12-11-03 and account number 00924709. You may also need the
following information BIC – BOFSGB21238 and IBAN – GB26 BOFS
1211 0300 9247 09. Please ask your bank to use your name for
identification purposes so that we can allocate the monies received
correctly !

By
payment to our PayPal account. Payments can be made through http://www.paypal.com
for the credit of whitelion_society@yahoo.co.uk.
Members paying in this way should add 5% for exchange costs.

By
paying for several years at once. For example, US $140 would cover your
subscription for four years at the present time.

By
sending US dollars or Euro notes. This is riskier than other methods, but
the Treasurer is willing to accept US $35 or 20 Euros in cash as
being equivalent to £12 at the present time. Unfortunately other currencies
are not acceptable.
